classes. For information on deadlines for short term classes, contact your instructor. Unless otherwise
noted, deadlines are at 5:00 pm, the close of business, on the date indicated.
Short Term Classes:
Refund period ends at 10% of the class. Add classes & drop without a ‘W’ ends at 20%
of the class. Final drop date with a ‘W’ ends at 50% point of the class. Contact A&R at 559-443-8604 with

August 7, 2024 – Last day to submit a dismissal appeal. Must have Comprehensive SEP and 3
rd
party
documentation of extenuating circumstances.
August 9, 2024 – Last day to register in person for classes starting August 12, 2024
August 12, 2024 – Fall classes begin - full-term (18 week) and 1

9-week session
August 12 - September 2, 2024 – Late Registration for full-term classes. Student must obtain Add
Authorization in Self-Service from the instructor. These dates vary for short-term classes, ask those class
instructors for specific dates.
August 23, 2024 – Last day to drop a full-term class and be eligible for a refund.
August 30, 2024 – Last day to add a full-term class and last day to drop a full-term class with Staff
Assistance, and not receive a "W" on your transcript. If you have academic or business office holds
you must clear the hold to add your class, but you can still drop a class in person or via email.
September 2, 2024 – Last day to add a full-term class and last day to drop a full-term class without Staff
Assistance, and not receive a "W" on your transcript.
August 31 – September 2, 2024 – Labor Day Holiday – the campus is closed, no services.
October 1, 2024 – Last day to apply for Fall Degree or Certificates*
October 11, 2024 – Last day to drop a full-term class. You will receive a “W” on your transcript.
October 14, 2024 – Classes begin for 2

9-week session.
November 11, 2024 – Veterans Day Holiday – the campus is closed, no services.
November 28 – December 1, 2024 – Thanksgiving Holiday – the campus is closed, no services.
December 2, 2024 – Declare or reverse Pass/No Pass grading option. Students are highly recommended
to meet with a counselor prior to submission. Submit the week before finals to avoid impacts to grading,
transcripts, and academic standings.
December 13, 2024 – Last day of the Fall Semester.
December 19, 2024 – Grades available in Self-Service.
December 25, 2024 – Campus Closed for Winter Break. A&R services reopen January 2
